Identify the right airline and booking
Read the “operated by” line for the first flight. A ticket can carry a Lufthansa flight number while another airline operates the flight. Use the applicable airline reference and the passenger surname as booked.
If the record is not found, verify the reference with your original seller. Do not assume a seller’s order number is the airline’s booking code.
Read the actual error message
Distinguish “not yet available” from a document check, an incomplete passenger field, a technical failure, or an issue retrieving the reservation. Save the wording so you can describe the problem accurately.
Use official sources to check travel-document requirements for your route and nationality. An independent adviser cannot clear you for entry or override airline document checks.
If no usable boarding pass appears
Check whether the airline instructs you to visit a check-in desk. A booking confirmation is not a substitute for a valid boarding pass. Give yourself time to complete the airport process and follow the airline’s published deadlines.
If you are at the airport, go to the airline’s check-in or assistance desk. Do not wait for a general agency consultation when boarding is imminent.
